Local Rules
1. Out of bounds: Defined by white stakes.
> All fences on the course define O.O.B.
2. Water hazards: Defined by yellow stakes.
Lateral water hazards: Defined by red stakes.
> On hole 4 and 5, the wood left of the lateral water hazard is part of the hazard.
> Hole 9 and 18: The dropping zone offers an additional option under rule 26/1. If the ball is dropped in a dropping zone, the ball shall not be re-dropped if it comes to rest within two club-lengths of the spot where it first struck a part of the course even though it may come to rest nearer the hole or outside the boundaries of the dropping zone.
3. Ground under repair (GUR): Defined by blue stakes or white lines.
> Playing is prohibited in ground under repair.
> Deep Ruts behind hole 15 are defined as GUR.
> The graveled (incl. bricks and stones) parts of paths are defined as GUR.
4. Obstructions:
> Trees identified by a stake: If such a tree interferes with the player's stance or area of his intended swing, the ball must be lifted, without penalty and dropped in accordance with the procedure described in rule 24/2b(i).
> Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.
> Sprinklers:
> All fixed sprinklers are considered as immovable obstructions. 0 If a sprinkler is on the line of play and the ball lies outside of the green within 2 club-lengths of the green to be played, the sprinkler is considered as an interfering immovable obstruction.
5. All paths are integral part of the course
> See Local Rule 3: Ground Under Repair (GUR).

Penalty for breach of local rule 1 to 5:
> Stroke Play: 2 strokes
> Match Play: Loss of hole
6. Environmental Sensitive Area:
> An area marked with red/green stakes is a lateral water hazard. The appropriate authorities have declared such an area to be an environmentally sensitive area (ESA).
> 6(a) Play from such areas is prohibited: a player must, under penalty of one stroke, proceed under rule 26.1
> Penalty for breach of local rule 6(a): Disqualification.
> 6(b) Entry into such areas is prohibited
> Members breaching rule 6(b) will be subject to disciplinary action.
Visitors breaching rule 6 will be asked to leave the course.
7. Information:
> See ad valvas if any Temporary Local Rules are in operation.
> Stones in the middle of the fairway are immovable obstructions and indicate 50m (red), 100m (blue), 150m (yellow) and 200m (white) to the front of the green.
LOCAL RULES APPLICABLE FOR COMPETITIONS
8. Slow Play
> Based on rule 6-7 Note 2, the Committee has decided to add a local rule to prevent slow play
> The player must play without undue delay and in accordance with any pace of play guidelines established by the Committee.
> A maximum time per hole is defined on each scorecard. The total time for a round is also mentioned on the scorecard.
Penalty for breach of rule 8:
> STROKE PLAY
> First offence: One stroke;
> Second offence: Two strokes;
> Subsequent offence: Disqualification.
> MATCH PLAY
> First offence: Loss of hole;
> Second offence: Loss of hole;
> Subsequent offence: Disqualification.
9. Measuring instruments
> Based on decision 14-3/0.5, the Committee has decided that the use of any measuring instrument is prohibited in competitions.
Penalty for breach of local rule 9: Disqualification.
